SAT Eurosol’s manager, Mari Carmen Cano, has received the recognition granted by the Red Cross to companies in the province for their support of employability and their commitment to people in vulnerable situations. During the event, the humanitarian organization highlighted the involvement of Almería’s business community in its social programs, underscoring the importance of public-private collaboration to foster inclusion and generate real opportunities for access to the labor market.
In her speech, Cano expressed gratitude for the distinction and framed it within a business vision based on responsibility and deep roots in the region. “First and foremost, I want to thank the Red Cross for this recognition, which we receive with pride, but also with humility. Because behind it is not just a company, but a way of understanding our role in society.”
The manager stressed that business activity cannot be separated from people or the environment in which it operates.

Cano recalled that the cooperative’s commitment to employability and inclusion stems from a firm and sustained conviction over time.

In this regard, she highlighted the value of collaborating with the Red Cross as a way to materialize this commitment into concrete actions. “Collaborating with the Red Cross allows us to turn that conviction into action, supporting people in vulnerable situations and offering them real opportunities.”
Finally, the manager wished to share the recognition with those involved in these job placement processes. “This recognition also belongs to them; to those who have trusted, to those who have stepped forward, and to those who believe that the agri-food sector can be, in addition to an economic engine, a social engine.”
